We maintain a documented program of Quality Control and production procedures that follows the ISO 9001:2008 protocol. For us this is more than just crossing the "t"s and dotting the "i"s. We view quality control as a statement about who we are, as a commitment to our customers, a responsible system of governance. On the first day of employment at MARYN you are handed a three inch binder that outlines most of our policies and procedures and are expected to pass a test within your first week. Pretty daunting and serious stuff for a new employee - but essential for instilling the commitment we all share to ensure our products deliver on the promise.
PriceWaterhouseCoopers handles our external audits and additional internal audits of our systems and procedures are conducted regularly. This allows us confidence in the ability to produce high quality lubricant products that meet or exceed the standards set forth by appropriate organizations and OEM's. There are quality control committees that meet regularly and strict procedures for testing and evaluating materials, and finished goods.
As a part of our quality control measures each of our raw materials are tested before use and finished products must be approved before packaging and leaving the manufacturing plant. We also keep on file a chemical fingerprint of all our products. Each product is tracked with a unique LOT number to ensure MARYN's commitment to delivering long lasting, high quality products. This LOT number corresponds to a unique batch and can be used to identify our products long after the bottles have left the plant. This numbering system follows products on sales orders and even individual bottles (if you are wondering what the tag with numbers on it if for - that's it). For our raw material, our tracking system works the same way, and we retain of file a library of samples of every raw material and all our finished products for 7 years! Our goal is to have 100% traceablilty of any raw material that comes into MARYN and any finished goods that go out. Our system is designed to ensure peace of mind comes with every bottle of PowerUp, Triumph or Marinus Lubricant.
There are also procedures in place all along the manufacturing process to ensure goods pass a series of quality control tests before being bottled. If for whatever reason a consumer has issues we can look up the history of the product production and provide exact data on that product for the purpose of warranty and insurance claims. Because our products are used in critical areas of industries such as aviation where more than just friction is on the line, we want to make sure that every single product that leaves our facility meets the specifications and requirements of demanding industries.
Being ISO 9001:2008 isn't about the paperwork, its about protecting the investment of our consumers, providing peace of mind and performance with every product. When it comes to lubricating your equipment, we take our responsibility seriously.

There was a time when selecting the right lubricant was easy. Now there are so many classifications, specifications, standards and operating conditions that it is often difficult to make sure you are meeting the lubrication requirements of your vehicle, or equipment as set out by the OEM. In many cases equipment is operating under severe service conditions and being maintained on a light duty service schedule, which time and again results in equipment failure and costly downtime.
MARYN International produces the PowerUp Lubricants brand - lubricant chemistry which is designed to blend with finished oils to address these very conditions and are perfectly suited for consumer use. In a time where environmental protection is crucial MARYN International also produces the Triumph | Environmentally Responsible and Marinus | Readily Biodegradable products. These high performance lubricants deliver protection in the most demanding applications and still maintain a commitment to wise resource management.
