   EngineMaxx is a universal oil additive specifically designed for use in engines that require medium to high ash oils (1.0% or more). It is suitable for use in most car and truck engines that employ conventional, off-the-shelf oils.  EngineMaxx provides engines with exceptional anti-wear protection, a superb detergent/dispersant package, viscosity index improvers and effective corrosion inhibitors. EngineMaxx is a balanced additive package that provides complete lubrication to mineral-based and synthetic oils.

   The primary benefit of EngineMaxx is friction reduction within the boundary lubrication regime, where metal-to-metal contact causes component wear.  This protection is crucial to the ring zone, turbocharger and camshaft lobe areas in engines, and the pump, cylinder rods and valves in hydraulics.

Reduce Downtime & Catastrophic Failure

   Advanced extreme pressure boundary additives provide unequalled protection in high load/high friction conditions.  Proper lubrication under extreme conditions reduces mechanical malfunctions and failures.

Enhance Fuel Economy

   Anti-wear components control scuffing and wear under light to extreme loading conditions providing enhanced piston and cam shaft lubrication.  By reducing frictional losses and minimizing wear, an increase in combustion efficiency can be realized resulting in improved power and reduced fuel consumption.

Eliminate Dry-Starts

   Polar anti-wear & extreme pressure additives are attracted to the polar metallic surfaces of the engine and are able to strongly adhere providing a protective lubricating interface.  This allows for significant friction reduction and protection of vital engine components during start-up.

Extend Oil Service Life

   Oxidation inhibitors and an enhanced alkaline reserve prevent oil breakdown and neutralize the formation of acids.  Increased performance of the basic lubricating components allow for an increase in the useful lifetime of the oil.

   Viscosity index improvers maintain lubricant flow and shear stability over wide temperature ranges.

Reduce Corrosion

  Rust and corrosion inhibitors protect against the adverse effects of moisture (condensation build-up in oils) and oil oxidation caused by free wear metals present in the oil.

  Detergents and dispersants maintain cleanliness of the system, keep contaminant in suspension, and remove varnish build-up in old engines.

Product Application and Availability:

EngineMaxx is intended for use in internal combustion engine crankcases. It is applied at 3% of the oil volume each time the oil is changed. (1oz. per quart).  EngineMaxx is also suitable for use in automatic transmissions at an application rate of 1%, in power-shift transmissions at 3%, and in circulating systems at 3% or 5%, depending on the severity of service. EngineMaxx is compatible with mineral-based and synthetic oils based on polyalphaolefins and diesters. At the recommended application rates, EngineMaxx will not affect the viscosity of your engine oil, nor will it adversely affect engine seal materials.

  Extreme Lubrication Protection

  In independent Contact Gamma wear tests, EngineMaxx significantly reduced the amount of wear generated when used with a typical engine oil.  Calculated estimates based on wear reduction (suggest that the use of EngineMaxx can extend equipment life up to 7 times by reducing typical friction losses that occur in normal day to day operations. 

   A series of dynamometer and ultrasonic noise tests were carried out to determine the effect of EngineMaxx on a diesel highway tractor engine.  The application of 3% EngineMaxx increased the horsepower and torque, while reducing fuel consumption, ultrasonic wear noise and emissions.  Some of the computer controlled and corrected dynamometer results are given in Figures 1 and 2.

   

  

Special Notations on ENGINEMAXX

Viscosity: 

  A 3% application of EngineMaxx in typical SAE 30 to SAE 50 weight oil results in negligible change in viscosity and viscosity index of the oil.

Alkaline Reserve:

 Power Up EngineMaxx is blended with an acid scavenger to neutralize blow-by gases and acidic oil degradation products.  The addition of 3% EngineMaxx will increase the base number of engine oils by about 0.5mg KOH/g.
